This lot is part of the production from one of the washing stations owned and managed by Mr Abiyot and his company Buno General Trading.

This station is called Dari and is in the Dola area in western Guji, and Buno through the exporting of high-quality coffee cherries has been able to build a school near the station at disposal of the entire community around this and all his washing station.

The producers in the area are growing their coffee plants along the lushes forest on the hills on the outskirts of the village uder the shade of local trees such as Cordia Africana, Acacia and Albizzia.

Bashura has been setting up a field team, that has been providing training in basic agronmic practices and creating bonds with the producers.

Buno has been paying to the local producer that contributed to the lots an extra premium of one birr for every kg delivered during the harvest during the off-season to encourage them to wait on their picking and supplying only fully ripen cherries.

Buno has been providing an interest free financial line of credit to the farmers during the off-season for harvest related expenses, the loan then will be deducted from upon cherry delivery payment.
